Happy February ! The most anticipated day of the month is around the corner, matter of fact 1 day away... I believe most people are thinking of how to show their loved ones how they care about them. I must admit I am sure thinking about love as well but on a very different note! Before the year 2016 ended I went on a self love journey after the dating world taught me so much over the the course of the year. Many lessons were learned but most importantly I learned that nothing beats SELF LOVE
In the course of this journey I had to ask myself many times if I really did love myself and the obvious answer was a NO but what I failed to realize was that no one was going to ever love me if I didn't love myself. It seems the world has a way of telling us that we are unworthy of love unless we have a significant other. No one has the ability to make you happy, you either make yourself happy or sad by responding and reacting to what people do hence depend on no one for love or happiness whatsoever. This Valentines day I've decided to make sense of this SELF-LOVE journey and I want you to join me whether single or engaged. Reflect on yourself and what you know you deserve. Don't wait on no-one to show you love! show yourself love, Yes its ok to be selfish... Love yourself with no regrets and make the most out of this day!!!! its about time we love and appreciate ourselves more. PB: Vals day is not for Lovers only!!!
